- Approved a resolution to apply for a $30,000 public-health grant for school vaccine education and training (motion moved and seconded; roll-call: Commissioner Connolly voted no; Commissioners Cleary, Rich, Zanker and Mayor Schmitz voted yes; outcome: 4–1 in favor).
- Approved Ordinance 6623 to amend Title 5 (liquor licenses) with edits adding NDCC 5-01-19 for domestic distilleries and removing duplicate language in section G (moved by Commissioner Cleary; seconded; unanimous yes).
- Continued the public hearing on Annexation Ordinance 6635 (Northern Sky second edition, eastern portion of Lot 1, Block 2) to the Sept. 9 commission meeting at the request of the developer (motion carried by roll call).
- Approved Ordinance 6637, a zoning map amendment and major-subdivision final plat for Elkridge 4th (23.65 acres; 46 lots) as recommended by Planning & Zoning (motion carried by roll call; unanimous yes).
- Awarded the improvement-district construction contract for the Vermont Avenue extension to Northern Improvement Company (low bid $764,179) and authorized the award (motion carried; unanimous yes).
- Voted to enter executive session under NDCC 44-04-19 for contract negotiation strategy (motion carried by roll call; commissioners voted to proceed to closed session).
