Daggett County commissioners on April 1 discussed final steps needed to complete the transfer of a clinic parcel to the Municipal Building Authority (MBA).
County staff and the commission said the vacation of the right-of-way for the parcel is complete and that the governing body approved the transfer last week, but the transfer still requires final signatures to be effectual. Staff reported the final plat must be recorded and two exhibits must be attached to the resolution before the paperwork is complete.
County counsel and staff asked for a legal description of the parcel to attach to the resolution documents. A 1.03-acre measurement was mentioned in the discussion; staff agreed to provide the legal description immediately so the chair could sign the documents before the body recessed to the MBA meeting. One staff member said the plat "should have been in the email that was sent to you last night," and agreed to provide the legal description in Word format for insertion into the resolution.
The commission recessed at 9:17 a.m. to convene the Municipal Building Authority meeting to complete MBA business and return to the county agenda afterward.
