Daggett County commissioners confirm clinic groundbreaking, get water treatment plant update

Speaker 1 said the county's water treatment plant project is continuing and reported that construction and inspections are still in progress. "Best of my a good update on the the water treatment plant project," Speaker 1 said.
Speaker 1 also announced a clinic groundbreaking set for 11:45 a.m. and said Tri County Health will provide lunch for the event. "We have groundbreaking today at 11:45 and a lunch that's being provided by Tri County Health," Speaker 1 said.
Speaker 3 reported that the municipal building authority and RDA have some bills to resolve and noted a bond returning from the water treatment plant. "Looks like we have some bills to figure out from engineering. Also, I got the bill from for the bond returning from the water treatment plant," Speaker 3 said, adding that construction has been lengthy and inspections are ongoing.
No formal action or vote was recorded on project-specific funding or timelines in the session. Commissioners said they would continue to monitor progress and support partner engagement; Speaker 1 thanked Tri County Health and called out the partnership for the clinic project.
The meeting recessed at 9:20 a.m. to convene a municipal building authority meeting.
