Daggett County commissioners hear RDA and Municipal Building Authority updates, clinic construction advances

County commissioners on Aug. 19 heard progress reports on multiple Redevelopment Agency (RDA) and Municipal Building Authority projects, including site work for a new clinic, water‑system work in Dutchtown, and movement on an affordable workforce housing project.

The meeting record shows that site preparation for the clinic is underway: contractors have placed fabric and rock, are compacting road base and installing drainage, and staff said they expect the elevator pit to be poured the following day. Officials noted they worked through groundwater issues and are coordinating foundation and mechanical‑room work, including installation of a future sump and drain lines.

Separately, the commission received updates that closings have occurred on units in a self‑help housing project and that construction is expected to begin soon.
