County staff member Carrie presented the final policy and noted she had completed the application. Commissioners and staff discussed optional services (described in the policy as TRIA, WAR extended coverage, CORE 360 and ERISC Hub); the commission agreed to continue with the airport liability coverage only, which staff said matched prior practice. Staff reported the expiring premium was about $5,830 and the renewal premium (including a $100 fee) totals approximately $6,513.
A motion to approve the renewal for the stated amount and to decline the optional coverages was moved, seconded and carried with recorded ayes. Staff was authorized to complete electronic signature and finalize the policy. Commissioners also asked staff to delay or separately process any application for Taylor Flats until its earliest required timeline next May.
Next steps: Carrie will check the boxes as directed, sign electronically, and finalize coverage for Manila and Dutch John airports.
