The Daggett County Commission tabled item 3, a proposed county privacy policy that includes website privacy language, to allow additional review and editing.
Staff told commissioners the draft is intended to address a state email about county website privacy language and that some drafting work came from a vendor (Veil). Kent (remote) had not yet reviewed the draft; Mr. McCracken asked Cordell to share the source materials used to create the policy and offered to provide a cleaned-up version before the next meeting. Commissioners agreed to table the item until the requested sources and updates are available.
Next steps: staff and counsel will circulate the policy sources to Kent and the commission; a revised draft is expected before the next scheduled meeting for further consideration.
