The Daggett County Municipal Building Authority on July 8 acknowledged its cash summary and approved an open invoice register, and members discussed next steps for reimbursements tied to a recently closed bond while hearing a brief update on a clinic building project.
Speaker 1, an unidentified member of the authority, opened discussion by asking about preparations for reimbursements now that the bond has closed, saying the closure should allow the authority to request reimbursements for monies spent to date. "But now that the bond is closed, we should be able to request some of those reimbursements," Speaker 1 said.
Speaker 1 moved to acknowledge receipt of the cash summary and the accounts receivable report as of July 3, 2025; Speaker 2 said, "I'll second it." The motion was approved by voice vote; the transcript records ayes but does not list individual voter names or a formal roll-call tally.
Following that vote, the authority considered an open invoice register dated July 3, 2025, showing total invoices of $4,635. A motion to approve the invoice register was made and seconded by Speaker 3; the authority approved the motion by voice vote.
Members briefly reviewed the disbursement listing and confirmed there were no purchase requests for the Municipal Building Authority at this meeting. Speaker 1 also reported no correspondence or calendar items for the MBA and noted that the contractor had begun excavation on the clinic project.
Earlier in the meeting Speaker 1 described a planned, informal open house/groundbreaking lunch for the clinic building project and referenced the water treatment plant project in the agenda preview. Speaker 3 confirmed minutes for a prior special meeting (referenced in the discussion as involving "Miranda") have not yet been prepared and said they will be completed for the next meeting.
The meeting was adjourned by acclamation at 9:27 a.m.
