Staff said Harvest Renewables is seeking an initial one-year option (with an additional one-year extension available) to complete due diligence for approximately 30 acres at the north end of the property near the track. The draft addresses easements for access and transmission and includes contractor responsibilities for an access road; staff noted the draft had outstanding revisions and attorneys were finalizing language.
Council members emphasized the need to review substantive changes before final action; staff said the final agreement will be brought back to the council at a subsequent meeting for discussion and approval.
No formal approval was requested at this meeting.
