During the consent agenda, the board approved multiple contract recommendations (including a Skyline/Clegg/Freeman Transportation South bus-lot solar array contract and assorted roofing repairs), approved minutes for multiple earlier meetings, and accepted donations including a donated 2002 Saturn to the Pioneer CTE auto program. Trustee Wilkerson moved the consent agenda and Trustee Schmidt seconded; roll-call approval followed.
In board action, trustees discussed the Washington Intermediate School District election date (June 2) and designated Trustee Mohammed to serve as the district's electoral representative with Trustee Wilkins as the alternate (motion carried). The board also approved a motion to schedule a closed session on 05/21/2025 for attorney–client privilege and negotiations and accepted a friendly amendment that adjusted committee and closed-session timing (committee at 5:30 p.m., closed session at 6:30 p.m., regular meeting to follow later that evening).
