The absence of a signed DOT contract threatens near-term operations unless revenue flow is resolved; county staff said DOT had released funds but a signed contract was still outstanding. The board also discussed veterans transportation: to date through November the county had spent approximately $59,000 and Jefferson County and other counties were cited for comparative ridership and cost figures.
