County to use opioid-settlement dollars for 'Tall Cop' sessions and outreach materials

"The opioid settlement dollars are going to pay the $10 per certificate for the continuing ed," Speaker 9 said.
The opioid team proposed using a small tranche of settlement dollars to produce 100 printed community resource guides to place in strategic locations and a portable display to be housed at the library for traveling health-fair outreach. Board members encouraged maximizing community reach and agreed to proceed with the outreach strategy.
Staff will finalize flyers and logistics and circulate materials before the event.
