The Jefferson County Board of Supervisors on June 9 adopted a yearly employee salary resolution effective July 1, 2025, moved $262,741.17 in American Rescue Plan Act interest to the county's general basic fund and approved a $3,000 opioid-settlement expenditure to establish a "Read to Recovery" collection at the Fairfield Public Library.
Speaker 1 presented the salary resolution, which lists pay rates for elected officials and dozens of county positions including auditor and deputies, sheriff's office staff, jailers, conservation and public-health employees.
