One supervisor observed that ARPA base funds were 'obligated' and that interest had been transferred into the county’s general fund; staff confirmed the county's ARPA project obligations must be in place by year-end (12/31/2025) to meet federal requirements.
After discussion the board moved and voted to pay the vendor costs from the county building line item with the option to backfill from the general fund if that building line is exceeded. The motion passed on a voice vote.
