The Richmond Redevelopment Commission on Jan. 20 re-elected Kathy Lucid as president and named Gary Turner vice president; a commissioner nominated Allison (surname recorded variously in the transcript as Bridal and Zito) for secretary and the nomination was approved by voice vote.
The votes were taken by voice; the commission also approved the Oct. 21, 2025 meeting minutes and accepted the financial report covering the period through the end of November 2025. The votes were procedural voice approvals with no roll-call tallies recorded in the transcript.
Beth, a commission staff member who led the financial review, told members the commission has roughly $2.7 million available for new projects in allocation area 1 and about $2.05 million unobligated in the certified technology park fund. She also reported approximately $1.0 million available in the Johns Manville fund (some amounts earmarked for Richmond Community Schools), about $44,000 in the Heartland/Blue Buffalo account, and a small negative balance in the Midwest Industrial Park Fund that staff said will be reconciled at year-end.
Commission members asked a few clarifying questions before moving and seconding approval of the financial report; the chair then called for the ayes and the package was approved.
The meeting proceeded to scheduled presentations after the procedural business was complete.
