Board of Public Safety certifies executive session, elects officers and approves multiple conditional hires

The board approved the following conditional offers (each is contingent on the applicants completing remaining hiring steps): Zachary Brock; Kate Lindsay; Dustin Carpenter; Steven Hatton Jr.; Andrew Weeks; Harrison Fleetwood; Dylan Erwin; and Tyler McLaughlin. Motions were moved and seconded as recorded on the meeting transcript, and each motion was followed by an 'All in favor? Aye' and declared passed by the presiding member.
Unidentified Speaker 1 also nominated 'Russell' as chair for 2026; the nomination was seconded and the board recorded 'Aye' votes. Unidentified Speaker 2 nominated a vice chair, that nomination was seconded and approved by voice vote.
