Noblesville Main Street gave a year-end presentation to the Common Council on Dec. 2, reviewing events, sponsorships and downtown support, and the group's executive director announced she will step down at the end of the year.
The presentation outlined programming that included the weekly farmers market, First Fridays and a downtown business summit. The director said the farmers market remains the organization's strongest revenue source, bringing in about $90,000 in 2025 through sponsorships and vendor participation, and that more than 50 vendors are already confirmed for 2026. The city contributed $40,000 in direct financial support in 2025 and provided roughly $70,000 in in-kind assistance, including office space on Conner Street and use of Federal Hill Commons for the market.
The director credited partnerships with local organizations and media relationships with expanding downtown visibility and cited Main Street America's four-point approach (economic vitality, design, promotion and organization) as the program's guiding strategy. She thanked volunteers, sponsors (including Duke Energy and other local sponsors listed to the council) and city departments for support.
Toward the end of the presentation the executive director said she is leaving the role after four years and that the organization is in final interviews to fill the position. She thanked council members and the mayor for their support.
The presentation closed with a list of upcoming holiday events in downtown Noblesville and an acknowledgment from council members.
