The amendment package also included $5.3 million in meals‑tax projects presented for the board's approval. Justin Crawford, presenting the paper, said the amendments were introduced at the Dec. 2 meeting and were duly advertised; no members of the public spoke at the hearing and the board adopted the amendments by voice vote.
Board members asked clarifying questions about the scope and thanked staff for the presentation. The board approved the amendments, and staff will implement the appropriations and report as required by county financial procedures.
What happens next: County finance will record and appropriate the funds per the board action, and departments receiving allocations will proceed with planned projects and grant administration.
