During public comment on agenda items, Danielle Marcello (66 Cracker Street) praised the board for putting Paul's Law into effect and thanked cafeteria and transportation staff for their work. "I'm incredibly proud," Marcello said, referring to the law she described as having been enacted in 2020.
Earlier in the meeting Superintendent Doctor Tomko invited Miss Caruso to present Kimura Henry as the student of the month; Caruso described Henry’s achievements in academics, athletics and service and the student thanked teachers and family. Several board members offered congratulations.
Public commenter Sean Redzio later returned to heating concerns but also asked the board to host at least one open candidate forum before the April 21 school board election, saying voters "deserve to hear from every candidate in the same room answering the same questions." Several board members acknowledged the request and the administration said election information would be posted on an updated district webpage.
The public comments section included praise for district staff and persistent questions about facility planning and communication; the board recorded responses from the superintendent and administrators during the meeting.
