"They were able to find unbelievable pricing on a on 2 vehicles," Speaker 3 said, and moved to approve a revised ARPA resolution earmarking the funds for those purchases. The motion was seconded by Mr. Frankel and approved by voice vote.
Why it matters: Trustees said the purchases will replace a dilapidated pickup and a small dump truck and will be equipped with LED lights and plows, which they expect will improve safety and maintenance efficiency. Officials said the village may sell older vehicles and apply net proceeds to offset accessory costs such as lighting and shipping.
