The Dripping Springs City Council approved the city's first fiscal year 2026 budget amendment, adding $3,344,000 in expected revenue from the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) to reimburse expenditures for the West Interceptor project.
City staff told the council the amendment adjusts the revenue side to reflect TWDB reimbursement and will be followed by outlay requests as invoices are received. No members of the public spoke during the public hearing on this amendment; council moved, seconded and passed the ordinance amending the 2025–26 municipal budget.
Staff said the adjustment will align budgeted revenues and expenses for the reimbursable infrastructure project so payments can be processed as grant invoices arrive.
