Reseda Ross of the Department of City Development said the sale follows the disposition report and noted the parcel had been vacant for decades. Charlotte John Gomez, president and CEO of the Siebert Lutheran Foundation, described the organization’s investment in the adjacent neighborhood and said improved parking would support the foundation’s continued presence.
Committee members asked practical questions — purchase price, number of parking stalls, and vehicle access — and staff and the buyer responded with details about rerouting the entrance and an anticipated 25 spaces overall. The committee moved the recommended option; hearing no objection, the item proceeded without roll‑call opposition.
