Board amends Jan. 13 minutes to record who moved Item 10

The Board of City Service Commissioners voted Jan. 27 to amend the minutes of its Jan. 13 meeting to show who moved and seconded Item 10, after a commissioner flagged the omission.
A commissioner said during the Jan. 27 meeting, “There was no record of who made the motion or who seconded it in the minutes.” Executive secretary Miss Moore reviewed her notes and said, “According to my notes, I have Janet Cleary making the motion and Steve Smith's second,” and said she would update the minutes.
Following a motion to approve the minutes with those additions, Commissioners Miller, Smith, Cleary and Wicksboro voted yes and the amended minutes were approved.
The correction records who formally initiated and seconded the action on Item 10 at the earlier meeting; the board did not change the substantive vote recorded for that item.
