Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo to debut Will Rogers Coliseum renovation during 2026 run

Matt Carter, president and general manager, said the 2026 show will be the 129th edition of the event and described the partnership with the city as longstanding. Carter introduced organizational leaders with him and thanked city public-event staff by name for their work on the renovation and event planning. "We will be brief, but we just wanted to come today and talk a little bit about the 2026 Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo," Carter said.
Philip Williamson, the organization's chair, encouraged council members to participate in the grand entry and wear the provided stock-show badges. Staff and organizers offered council invitations and information about the schedule. There was no formal council action recorded; this item was presented as an informational update.
