The Franklin Board of Public Works and Safety accepted a subdivision performance bond and executed developer agreements for The Bluffs at Youngs Creek Section 6 on Feb. 2. Matt McElroy told the board WinStar Homes plans to start the last section of the development and presented bond #273023, which covers erosion control in the amount of $154,100.64.
McElroy said the agreements for sanitary sewer service, earthwork and paving inspection, and storm and sanitary sewer inspection are the city’s standard forms for developer projects. When asked how many homes the last section includes, McElroy said it contains 92 lots. The board moved, seconded and approved acceptance of the bond and execution of the related agreements by voice vote.
The approvals allow the developer to proceed with site work subject to the conditions in the city’s inspection and service agreements.
