City approves $50,000 quotes for cemetery headstone foundation replacements

Recreation Director Chip Horner said the project team attempted to obtain three bids but received one qualified quote of approximately $50,000 after two vendors declined. Horner said the sites and work items were already identified and crews would begin when weather conditions permit. A board member moved to approve the phase 5 quotes; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
City staff said work will proceed as soon as conditions allow and that this is the fifth time the city has undertaken the headstone foundation program.
