Court corrects county-road mileage records for CR 3383 and CR 4361

Anderson County commissioners voted July 7 to correct mileage entries on two county roads so county maps and maintenance records match field conditions.
Staff reported County Road 3383 was listed at 0.3 miles but historically county maintenance stopped at the Miller property line; the court approved changing the mileage to 0.2 miles so maintenance ends at the property edge. Separately, County Road 4361 was reported on the mileage list as 0.3 miles, but inspection showed county maintenance extends about 1.1 miles and three gates mark the end of maintenance; the court approved revising the mileage to 1.1 miles.
Commissioners directed that county-maintenance signs be posted after approval. Staff noted there were no recorded easements extending maintenance farther and that adjacent property access had changed in recent years.
