Anderson County Commissioners approved a series of land‑use plats and replats on routine votes, including four Dogwood Lake replat requests, a preliminary plat for Oakcrest Estates Section 2, and the final plat for Lone Star Loop RV Park.
County staff and the project agent described the Dogwood Lake replats as subdividing larger tracts (for example splitting a 20‑acre parcel into two 10‑acre parcels). The court approved each replat for Units 1–5 after staff confirmed the proposals met county subdivision standards.
Norma Marr (who stated her name and address for the record) presented the Oakcrest Estates Section 2 preliminary plat on Anderson County Road 2232. Staff confirmed on‑record that on‑site sewage (OSS) and survey corrections had been addressed and the court approved the preliminary plat.
Drew Downing, representing the Lone Star Loop project for T and H Cattle Company, said the RV park final plat will provide 30 sites and that water, electric and septic arrangements and tax statements were in order. On a motion and second the court approved the final plat.
What the approvals mean: the replat approvals allow the property owners to subdivide or adjust lot boundaries under county rules; the Oakcrest approval advances a mobile‑home park expansion in Commissioner Mims’s precinct to the next step as a preliminary plat; the Lone Star Loop final‑plat approval clears the project for development subject to permitting and utility hookups.
The court recorded routine 'aye' approvals on each motion; no formal oppositions were recorded on the transcript.
