GOSHEN — The planning board approved a six‑month extension of a previously granted variance that permitted a church to occupy the former Klein's building without meeting the municipal parking requirement.
Planning staff told the board the zoning clearance has not been issued because plans have not yet been submitted, and that applicants are currently working on elevator work and other items. A motion to extend the variance for six months was made, seconded and approved on a voice vote.
The extension preserves the prior variance while staff continues to await formal plans and inspections; applicants will need to complete required approvals before zoning clearance is issued.
