The city applied for Community Crossroads (CCMG) funds ($1,000,000 request inside an estimated $6,000,000 project) but was not awarded CCMG funds; staff said some re-evaluation of funding sources is likely and noted the city can use TIF funds for many of these roads. Staff also noted low vacancy across the city and reported other redevelopment updates, including permitting activity for local businesses.
Next steps: staff will return with bid results for the industrial repaving package and continue to monitor redevelopment opportunities.
