According to the roll call conducted on the floor, Councilor Grama, Councilor Phillips, Councilor Pelletier, Councilor Fournier, Councilor McNabbish, Councilor Sykes and Councilor Bullard each answered "Yes" when their names were called. Mayor Fournier confirmed the motion passed unanimously and adjourned the public portion of the meeting so the council could meet in executive session.
Public comment was solicited specifically about the motion to go into executive session and none was offered, after which the mayor stated, "Public comment is closed." The council said it would return afterward for the scheduled budget briefing.
