Judy Camuso, commissioner of Fish and Wildlife, told the committee a rescheduled Bear Den visit has been set for Friday, March 6. She said the visit will be targeted to committee members and include a few invited guests, such as departmental staff and possibly the assistant attorney general.
"The goal for this is really for our committee to spend some time in the field together with our staff, understand the program that the department manages, and have a quick glimpse into the day in the life of a biologist, particularly a bear biologist," Camuso said. She asked members to provide a headcount when requested.
