The Daggett County Municipal Building Authority voted Jan. 27 to approve an invoice for Patriot Construction LLC in the amount of $228,570.76 for work on the Dutch John water treatment plant and approved the open invoice register, which totaled $278,009.76.
Speaker 2 introduced the Patriot Construction invoice and identified it as part of the open invoice register. Speaker 1 seconded the motion to approve the register and the board approved the payment by voice vote.
During project updates earlier in the meeting, staff said the Dutch John water treatment plant is on schedule, with "anticipating substantial completion in the February," and noted remaining items such as final water connection work and completion of the elevator 'pitch.' The authority also heard that the Daggett County Health Business and Community Center has several small change items โ additional chambers, lighting, a secure storage door and extra under-stair storage โ and that one change will require double FireX layers to convert the space to sealed storage. Staff cautioned the parking-lot tie-in will need mitigation and recalculation because current work differs from the original plan.
The board approved the disbursement summary covering 01/13 to 01/23/2026 in the amount of $3,403.18 later in the meeting.
