SALT LAKE CITY — The Senate Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment Confirmation Committee on Jan. 26 voted unanimously to forward three nominees for water-conservancy district boards to the full Senate for advice and consent on Jan. 30.
Don Hamilton, nominated to the Grand County Water Conservancy District Board of Trustees for a term expiring in January 2030, told the committee he has more than 30 years of experience in Utah energy projects and hydrology. "As a proven project manager with over 30 years experience in the Utah energy sectors, I'm honored to be nominated as a member to the Grand County Water Conservancy District Board of Trustees," Hamilton said, outlining work on water negotiations, conveyance systems and regulatory compliance.
