The sponsor said the amendment replaces Department of Health administration of the exam with board‑approved continuing education providers, tightens allowable injectables, requires informed consent and patient education, and bars delegation of duties to uncertified staff.
There was no public opposition recorded in committee and supporters including the Florida Chiropractic Association waved in support. The committee adopted the strike-all amendment and voted 17-0 to report the bill favorably.
