Commissioners expressed support for segregating the funds to avoid adding recurring obligations to the general fund. Commissioner (Speaker 5) said such a reserve could support projects like rescue squad additions and other capital needs. A motion to approve the resolution was made and carried by voice vote with no recorded opposition in the transcript.
Staff said details on debt presentation will be prepared as part of the FY26–27 budget process.
