Committee advances three bills in executive session: tribal voting portal substitute, public-official notification, and women's commission change

The committee moved to send Senate Bill 5,888, which would remove the existing Senate confirmation requirement for members of the Washington State Women's Commission, with a due‑pass recommendation to the Rules Committee; the motion carried on a voice vote.
All three actions were approved on voice votes and recorded in committee as "passed subject to signatures." No roll-call tallies were taken in the public transcript.
