At its Jan. 9 meeting Lyon County Fiscal Court recorded these formal actions:
- Surplus vehicle (Dodge Charger): Court accepted the Emergency Remarketing bid of $1,378.18 and approved the vehicle surplus. (Motion and unanimous vote recorded.)
- Minutes: Court approved the December minutes as printed. (Motion by Patrick Cummings; second by Maestro Fowler; approved.)
- Financial software: Court authorized purchase of cloud-based financial software with vendor payment terms discussed (initial $6,000, $12,000 after July 1, and $6,000 in March 2026). (Unanimous approval.)
- Appointment: Sam Smith appointed to the Lake Marley Tourism Board to fill the unexpired term of Artic Patel (term through Dec. 31, 2026). (Motion seconded and approved.)
