MINNEAPOLIS ' At the conclusion of its meeting the Minneapolis Planning Commission opened nominations for its executive offices. Commissioner Chris Meyer accepted a nomination for president. Commissioners nominated Commissioner Wagner for vice president and Commissioner Jones for secretary. The commission will hold the formal votes for those offices at its next regular meeting, the clerk said.
The clerk explained the typical duties of the secretary include signing records for filing with Hennepin County and substituting for the president or vice president if needed. Commissioners did not take a vote on the nominations during this session.
