Davis County Commission approves event agreements, contracts and routine auditor adjustments

Chair Commissioner Loreen Kamalu opened the meeting and led the pledge of allegiance. The commission approved minutes from July 22 after a staff member asked to read an amendment noted by Commissioner Cross.
Kent Anderson, director of Community and Economic Development, asked the commission to approve an agreement with Primetime Sports and Big Foot Hoops to stage a larger basketball tournament at Western Sports Park. "It's a receivable amount of $12,777.19 beginning 05/28/2026 and 05/30/2026," Anderson said, noting the county's calendar already shows other events that weekend.
The commission approved the events agreement by voice vote.
