Davis County Commission approves grants, contracts and appointments in brief session

Davis County commissioners used a mostly consent agenda to approve a series of grants, contracts and appointments during a meeting that ran about 30 minutes.
Community and Economic Development Director Kent Anderson asked the commission to accept a $182,250 receivable grant from the Utah Office of Tourism for the Discover Davis 2026 cooperative marketing program; the award is a 1:1 match running from Aug. 29, 2025, to April 1, 2027.
