House adopts adjournment citation for Tatum Elizabeth Dale and recognizes author Emily Bingham

Lady from Callaway called legislative citation number 006 and asked that it be read by title as an adjournment citation in memory of Tatum Elizabeth Dale. In brief floor remarks the Lady from Callaway said Dale was a "hometown girl whose kindness, intellect, and general generous spirit left a lasting impression," and the Gentleman from Bourbon added, "Tatum Dale embodied everything that was good in this world," describing her work with veterans and community service. The House moved adoption of the citation and the clerk recorded that it was ordered.
Later the Lady from Jefferson asked the clerk to report citation number 007 honoring Emily Bingham. The clerk read a citation stating, "The House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Kentucky hereby recognizes and honors Emily Bingham," and noted that Bingham had received the 2025 Music and American Culture Award for her book 'My Old Kentucky Home, the Astonishing Life and Reckoning of an Iconic American Song.' The Lady from Jefferson and Representative Marzion offered brief praise; the citation was moved for adoption and the chair ordered it.
