The Willmar City Council authorized advertisement for bids on the Iverson Park Lift Station reconstruction at its Jan. 28 meeting.
Public Works Director Shane Stefanik said design is complete and the engineers’ estimate for construction is $935,000. Stefanik told the council the project should be funded with bond proceeds. Council moved and approved the plans and specifications and authorized staff to advertise for bids by roll call, 6-0.
Staff did not identify a construction contract award at the meeting; next steps are solicitation and bid evaluation.
