Council approves $75,745 windstorm policy renewal through TWIA

Miss Hurst also described McGriff’s recent work helping the city find savings by switching other coverages and noted a prior $200,000 savings resulting from a change to Liberty Mutual for all-other-peril property insurance. Councilman Matamortis moved to approve the TWIA renewal as presented and Councilman Davis seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
Financial and procedural details: Miss Hurst stated the premium was included in the budget. No amendments to coverage or deductible were proposed during the meeting.
