Campton Hills board adopts amended organization chart and authorizes legal second opinion

Several trustees said they liked the original chart's clarity but expressed willingness to adopt the amended version while confirming its legal consequences. Trustee Janet urged the board to keep committees' advisory role clear and asked that committee chairs maintain regular contact with the full board.
The motion to adopt the chart, remove the clerk-to-administrator line, and authorize the legal opinion passed by roll call. The board directed staff to solicit cost estimates from multiple firms and to circulate any final opinion before the next meeting.
