Seaside commission readies Feb. 25 Fascination Tournament and raffle to raise funds

"We're set and locked for our Wednesday, February 25 date," Speaker 1 said. The chair reported four teams already registered and said staff will send registration links and flyers to past participants and local partners.
Commissioners discussed publicity: Savannah in HR and marketing has an ad ready to post on Facebook, and Speaker 2 said the commission should share and repost the ad. Speaker 2 also recommended distributing table tents and handouts at chamber breakfasts and the weekly ‘‘Good Morning Seaside’’ to advertise Chisholm as a meeting space while promoting event registration.
The commission also discussed a raffle to raise funds. Speaker 1 described prior raffle results (the speaker recalled raising about $900) and discussed ticket-pricing options; during the meeting speakers referenced $1-per-ticket pricing and package deals conversationally.
