The Town of Braintree council on Tuesday unanimously approved a set of FY2026 supplemental appropriations to support start-up operations of the Triton regional water treatment plant, after a presentation by Finance Director Mike Esmond that described the spending as a "stub year" budget while Braintree performs contracted operator duties.
