Amanda Galbraith was confirmed as president of the Rio Rancho Public Schools Board of Education during the board istrict ivisional reorganization meeting on Jan. 12, after the board swore in three newly elected trustees.
The reorganization session, required after the November election, opened with the oath of office administered by Judge Lewis McDonald to Seth Mueller, Michael Aaron Berry and Rebecca E. Murray. After nominations, the board voted to elect Galbraith as president; Seth Mueller was chosen as vice president and Beth Miller as secretary. The board also appointed committee leadership and its large-district representative to the New Mexico School Boards Association (NMSBA).
