Carlin Menson, a 35-year district veteran, and other parents gave personal examples of Clarina's role maintaining stability and continuity for students, arguing that consistent leadership is especially important post-pandemic. Several speakers asked Superintendent Dr. Negron to engage the school's Site-Based Management Team (SPMT) and to meet with parents before personnel moves are finalized.
What happens next: Speakers were told their comments would be referred to administration for review. The board did not take an immediate personnel vote on this transfer during the meeting; parents asked the district for clearer public rationale if a transfer proceeds.
