Council approves year-end transfers for Fire Station 171 and an easement for Sierra Luna project

Staff explained that the easement is a standard licensing form allowing lines over the road and that the language (which lenders typically require) does not mean developers plan to sell; staff noted Sierra Luna had obtained county approvals as part of its development agreement. A motion to approve the easement was made and seconded; despite some technical issues with the voting system the item passed.
Both items were described by staff as final steps needed to move forward before contracts or permits expire.
