Baldwin County Commission approves $8.86 million in invoices, ratifies $4.48 million in interim payments and adopts consent agenda

The Baldwin County Commission voted Feb. 3 to approve payment of county invoices and to ratify interim payments authorized under county policy.
During the finance report, a motion was made and seconded to pay county invoices. The commission approved the payment of 101 invoices with a stated total of $8,861,663.04. The board next voted to ratify 56 interim invoices totaling $4,484,914.52 as allowed by policy 8.1; the ratification motion carried by voice vote.
The commission also adopted the consent agenda as discussed in the prior workshop; the county administrator and commissioners noted that item GA-1 had been moved into consent and was included with the other consent items. All motions described above passed by voice vote and no roll-call tallies were recorded in the transcript.
No amendments or further substantive debate on the underlying contracts or expenditures were recorded during the meeting.
